This weekend I had the wonderful opportunity to view the movie Fireproof with Kirk Cameron. While the main stream hollywood world may not nominate this movie for any academy award, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you make the time to see it.
We live in a throw away society today. The values that many of us were raised on as children have dwindled away and society has paid a price for it. This movie has a POWERFUL message and I believe that if many would follow the guidelines recommended in this film they will surely prosper in ALL THINGS!

This film is playing in selected theatres ONLY...that is a shame as it should be BLASTED FROM THE MOUNTAINTOPS..FINALLY a movie that carries a message of HOPE for this dying generation and an ANSWER TO ALL THEIR PROBLEMS

Have you seen their other two movies, "Flywheel" and "Facing the Giants"? Both also excellent messages. Both available through Amazon in DVD. These are not produced by major studios. All the actors, producers, film crew, etc. are all members of one church. They are getting better and better, but it's an amazing story.

I would love to see the movie. And I had to post to say what a great term to describe how I feel in these uncertain times- fireproof. What is the verse in Isaiah about walking through the fire but it won't burn you?
Hi Phyllis, We saw FireProof last week and loved it. We bought several copies of the videos last year for Facing the Giants and Flywheel and have shared them with many. This church, Sherwood Church in Albany Ga truly has a heart for God and they were looking for a way to reach young people. After seeing the stats on young people watching movies, they started praying and the Lord is mightily working through them and these films. You might be able to pick up copies of the first 2 movies at your local Christian Bookstores, later the videos of Fireproof will also be on sale.

We have Facing the Giants on DVD and I am looking forward to seeing Fireproof as well. There are marriages crumbling all around. It is epidemic, but it is GOOD to know God will use everything for His glory and our ultimate good.
